Team Spotlight - Kiss My Rheumatoid
Team Captain: Kellie Jones
Kellie is a Pediatric Physical Therapist, helping children with Juvenile Arthritis. Kellie was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 16. Despite her diagnosis, she played volleyball and softball throughout high school and college. Today, Kellie stays active through running. Kellie currently resides in Connecticut, but chose to participate in the Capital District Run, since most of her family resides in the area.
Kellie became involved with the Jingle Bell Run after her uncle participated in a previous run, and talked with her about how great the event was. Kellie’s goal is to raise awareness in the community about Arthritis, and to be an example for people living with the disease; showing others that RA is part of her life, but it does not define her. To date, Kellie’s team is halfway to their goal of raising $500 for the Jingle Bell Run.
December 7th Jingle Bell Run/Walk.
T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 650 registered participants.
